How FapNation Became One Of The Largest Sites

Give it enough time browsing random adult game sites and you’ll eventually stumble across Fap-Nation somehow. I randomly ended up on there the other day looking for an update to an older RPGMaker game and realized how massive they’ve become. It still looks like your basic adult download blog from years ago but dig into it for awhile and you’ll realize they upload tons of content every single day. Every time I refreshed the homepage there was another random game sitting there I’d never heard of.

What really stood out to me was how damn bizarre their homepage feels. One second you’re looking at some monster RPGMaker game like Being A DIK and the next some shitty parody cartoon game that really shouldn’t exist. Next thing you know I was reading actual comments about animation quality in some update post as if we were discussing big gaming news. That’s when I realized how much of its own subculture adult gaming has become.

Don’t be fooled by the homepage FapNation has every kind of adult game

A lot of folks still believe all adult games are just hentai slideshows with garbage writing. However that’s not the case at all anymore. They have literally every kind of adult game you can think of. Huge sandbox games, RPGMaker games, parody games, dating sims, Unity games, visual novels, every kind of 3D sex simulator and browser flash games that still update somehow. I also noticed a lot more Android ports too which honestly surprised me at first but makes total sense. A lot more people stream these games on phones and tablets these days.

A lot of the individual download pages are insanely detailed as well. Windows, Mac, Android APK, zipped copies, update patches, save uploads. People actually care about keeping these things updated it’s crazy. Stuff I didn’t even know still got updated somehow. I even saw users in the comments complaining about a game download being “dated” because it was a few days old lol. Gods forbid you don’t get your stupid game within an hour of release like how special.

The communities behind some of these games are INSANE

Did you know some adult games have bigger communities than regular non adult games? Outside of these niche circles I don’t think most people realize how huge certain games have become. Summertime Saga, College Kings, Being A DIK. These games have followers that spam the comments for every single tiny update. Devs pretty much become celebrities in the eyes of their fans because people actually care that much.

I know it sounds silly but there are actually games out there that have been in development for years that maintain these traffic numbers. Just because a game has a porn theme doesn’t mean it’s automatically garbage.

I downloaded a few random games while I was looking around and wasn’t too surprised at some of them. To be clear I found trash too because yes there is still a lot of that. But every once in awhile you’ll find a gem with some actually decent writing, full voice acting, animated sequences and hours of content you can get lost in.

If you haven’t browsed FapNation recently you should. It’s like a trip to the old internet.

Exploring FapNation made me realize how much I genuinely miss the old internet. Websites these days try so hard to look pristine and corporate. FapNation on the other hand is a hot mess where you click on random things for hours at a time. Within the first five minutes of browsing I think I opened up 12 different tabs because each page had me wanting to look more games.

Hell appreciate the simplistic downloads pages too. Yes there are billions of ads like everywhere else is but at least you don’t have fake download buttons littering every page like some sites do. Trying to find the real download link on those can drive you insane. They also have tons of screenshots for games and specific details on each version. It’s nice not having to worry about downloading some random virus along with the game.

The truth is adult gaming is bigger than most will admit

Between Patreon supporters, AI scripts, Unity asset downloads and larger communities I honestly believe the adult gaming scene is bigger than ever. There are so many popular developers known by regular visitors it’s insane. They become mini celebrities to the community because fans obsess over each new development post.

I don’t think a lot of people want to admit how massive adult gaming can be but there’s a large audience for it. FapNation is right there capitalizing and thrives because of it. I spent like 2 hours browsing their site that day because I kept finding new games. If you ignore the homepage lol and actually spend time digging through FapNation I promise you’ll understand what I mean.
