WetPussyGames Review

The WetPussyGames name shows up frequently throughout adult browser gaming discussions. Usually it is brought up negatively in reference to popup spam or aggressive ad units, but the brand persists because it’s been around awhile and because its partner networks are embedded on virtually every other site of its type. I’ve made negative comparisons to its behavior in past reviews, so I decided it was high time I give WetPussyGames.com a proper review of its own. How does the aging portal stack up now that it’s had several years to improve or evolve?

As it turns out, it’s not fair to review WetPussyGames.com the way you would most other sites. This site isn’t just a game portal; it’s also an active game developer, review site, walkthrough publisher, and the hub of one of the largest affiliate link lists I’ve ever seen in this particular industry corner. The problem is that WetPussyGames has all this lofty ambition trapped inside a layout that didn’t get a makeover past 2014, and a browsing experience determined to make you miserable at anything smaller than a Full HD screen.

HTTPS verified and no popup surprises on homepage during testing session. Not something I was expecting from WP Games. Load time for homepage was a couple seconds. A single redirect did fire before page loaded, but that was it. In other news, the sidebar includes an embedded animeapp.org iframe that sat innocently on my screen looking sketchy as hell, and there’s also a link in the nav bar that routes through track.aftrk3.com to an adult AI website. Can’t fault them for trying.

Mobile Site Experience

Straight up, WetPussy doesn’t play nice with phones. The entire site layout is hardcoded to 850px width, meaning it refuses to resize for small screens. On mobile you’re getting a miniature version of their desktop webpage that you need to pinch to zoom in and mess around with. WetPussyGames might as well not care you’re on mobile, because Mopoga cares enough to build a completely mobile first website that actually works on phones, and even Gamcore cares enough to scale their layout down if you’re browsing on mobile.

Desktop website operates on left sidebar navigation, featured slider, and four across thumbnails for their game listing. Header background rotates through various fan art posters (one credited to deadpiecezart based on file naming), so at least the site has some personality rather than just stacking generic stock images like most other competition out there. Categories aren’t too expansive, offering up: Action, Adventure, Arcade, BDSM, Dress Up, and BEST/Top Rated. That’s somehow less categories than MySexGames’. For scale, Gamcore has hundreds of individually filterable tags, as well as dev specific filters on top of that. Nav also includes links to Reviews, Walkthroughs, Porn Cartoons, and Hentai Movies, which might be the first clue you need that WetPussyGames isn’t just another game dump.

Games, Games and even more Games

Biggest takeaway from skimming their library? Hentai. Anime parodies. Rule 34 trash. This isn’t to say they don’t have their fair share of porn visual novels like you’ll find on Gamcore or Mopoga, they definitely do. But WetPussy tilts hard into that fantastical trash heap instead of portraying actual sex like Gamcore and Mopoga do. Kill La Kill by Zone-Archive and HentaiKey is a featured game. Judging by the blogofsex.com URL, it’s a Flash animation being loaded through an external free hosting site. Symphony of the Serpent by NLT Media is a 3D RPG Maker Adventure, also featured. Big name since NLT Media is known for games like Treasure of Nadia, Lust Epidemic, and many others. Boozy Beach Wumpa by CreamBee is a parody game focusing on Tawna from Crash Bandicoot. Code Yoko Drill Spot by SnugByte is apparently raping Code Lyoko. Porn Bastards 21 Jean Grey is newly added alongside JinX NNN Nightmare, Android 18 Gears Deep, Whitemane's Inquisition (porn WoW Parody), Captain Freeman Collection Vol 4, and many more games.

It’s obvious you won’t find tons of porn visual novels on WetPussyGames. Where Gamcore and Mopoga are leaning hard into professionally done Ren’Py games with save transfers, patch version tracking, and embedded Patreon developer payouts, WetPussy is content holding onto the Flash era appeal of porn animations and shorter, hacky games. A lot of these titles are quick 5 minute games focusing on one scene or character. Not wrong per se? Just different. If you’re looking to play 40+ hour games with half your saves forwarded to the next patch, Gamcore is way better. If you’re looking for a hentai rule 34 Flash animation of your favorite cartoon character failing... I’d check here first.

Also Flash based games are literally linked to external sites that WetPussy has no control over. Kill La Kill loads through blogofsex.com which loads in what looks to be either a Flash wrapper or an actual Flash emulation layer bundled into the webpage. Scrolling through the library there are a few other older titles that were originally Flash based games. Unlike Gamcore which has invested the time and resources into making their own Flash emulator, these games WILL die one day because they’re hosted on someone else’s servers.

Weeb Gamer Monetization 101

There’s affiliate links, there’s iframe stuff loading on your screen, and there’s an extensive network of partner sites trading eyeballs. Clicking Extreme Sex Games loaded me through an affiliate tracker before landing on some AI-type website. Extreme sex games, huh? Gotcha. If you click on that “NEW” button, the game will take you to some adult blog.... As erotic as that name is I didn’t trigger any popup madness on the homepage browsing through articles, so now it comes down to personal browsing preferences and mobile compatibility.

There’s walkthroughs! Fucking walkthroughs to help you when you get stuck on a game. Nobody else bothers with this shit.

Well, WetPussyGames actually makes games so they know what you’re going through when you try to make games yourselves.

As fond as I’ve become scrolling through WP’s library, there’s still a lot of deja vu with this site. They fit way too much on their page without accounting for mobile browsers, the Flash emulation problem is real, and even their biggest strength of being an actual developer is overshadowed by every other site adopting Ren’Py as their preferred game engine. It’s not Gamcore’s fault they’re better than you at running a business, but until WetPussyGames clones what is essentially a free copy of the Gamcore software experience things will never be the same.

TLDR; Don’t bother with WetPussyGames unless you’re specifically looking for hentai porn parody games, their own brand of Flash hentai games (because those will be gone soon), walkthroughs, reviews of paid games before you buy them, and weirdly enough actually care that the owners/operators of this website develop games too.
